الفيل الودود

The Friendly Elephant

In the charming town of iringa, nestled between rolling hills and lush forests, there lived a young boy named Ahmed.
Ahmed was known for his kind heart and adventurous spirit.
Every day, he explored the wonders of nature that surrounded his home, from the babbling brooks to the towering trees.

One sunny morning, as ahmed set out on his daily adventure, he stumbled upon a magnificent sight—a gentle elephant with wise eyes and a playful demeanor.

The elephant stood by a sparkling river, splashing water with its trunk and basking in the warm sunlight.
Filled with excitement, ahmed approached the elephant cautiously, extending his hand in friendship.

To his delight, the elephant responded with a joyful trumpet, wrapping its trunk around ahmed’s hand in a gentle embrace.

From that moment on, ahmed and the elephant became inseparable friends.

They spent their days exploring the wonders of iringa together, from the sprawling meadows to the hidden caves.
Ahmed would ride on the elephant’s back, feeling the wind in his hair and the sun on his face as they journeyed through the countryside.

One day, while exploring a dense forest, ahmed and the elephant stumbled upon a group of villagers in distress.

A mighty tree had fallen across the path, blocking their way home.

With no way to bypass the obstacle, the villagers were stranded.
Without hesitation, Ahmed and the elephant sprang into action.

Working together, they pushed and pulled the fallen tree until it was cleared from the path, allowing the villagers to return home safely.

The villagers cheered with gratitude, thanking ahmed and the elephant for their bravery and kindness.

As the sun began to set behind the hills, casting a golden glow over the town of iringa, ahmed and the elephant returned home, their hearts full of joy and friendship.
And from that day on, they knew that no obstacle was too great when faced with courage and kindness.

And so, in the heart of iringa, amidst the laughter of children and the whispers of the wind, ahmed and the elephant lived happily ever after, their friendship standing as a testament to the power of love and compassion.

A Surprise from Australia

The school ends and Erica quickly puts her books in the bag and runs out of the class.

Today is a special day. Erica is very excited. She runs home and thinks about her uncle. She spoke with him on the phone a week ago. He returns from Australia, and he brings a special surprise with him!

Erica is very happy. She thinks about the surprise that he brings.

"Maybe he brings a surfboard? That is fun! I can learn how to surf!"

"Maybe he brings Australian nuts? Oh, I can eat nuts all day!"

"Or maybe he brings a kangaroo? That is not good. I don't have a place in my room for a kangaroo…"

Erica finally arrives home. Her parents are there, and her uncle is there! She is very happy to see him. They hug and she jumps up and down.

"Uncle, uncle," she calls, "what special surprise do you have for me from Australia?"

"Well," her uncle smiles and answers, "I have for you an Australian aunt!"

The Right Place
A mother and a baby camel were lying around under a tree.

Then the baby camel asked, “Why do camels have humps?”

The mother camel considered this and said, “We are desert animals so we have the humps to store water so we can survive with very little water.”

The baby camel thought for a moment then said, “Ok…why are our legs long and our feet rounded?”

The mama replied, “They are meant for walking in the desert.”

The baby paused. After a beat, the camel asked, “Why are our eyelashes long? Sometimes they get in my way.”

The mama responded, “Those long thick eyelashes protect your eyes from the desert sand when it blows in the wind󠀸󠀷󠀶”.

The baby thought and thought. Then he said, “I see. So the hump is to store water when we are in the desert, the legs are for walking through the desert and these eye lashes protect my eyes from the desert then why in the Zoo?”

The mama responded:Skills and abilities are only useful if you are in the right place at the right time. Otherwise they go to waste.
